The 24th IAPRI World Packaging Conference, organised by the ITENE research centre in Valencia (Spain) from 17 to 21 June 2024, is set to become the world's leading event for packaging professionals. This conference will bring together 150 speakers and 400 attendees from business and research to explore and shape the future of packaging.

Virtual Premiere - Packaging Trends & Goals: A preview of the IAPRI World Conference

To preview the highlights of the conference, ITENE has organised a free virtual premiere entitled "Packaging Trends & Challenges: A preview of the IAPRI World Conference" which can be followed on a pre-recorded basis.

Keynote Speakers IAPRI

The 24th IAPRI World Packaging Conference, to be held from 17 to 21 June in Valencia, Spain, has unveiled its full programme featuring 173 papers international experts from companies and research centres spanning 32 countries. The conference, organized by ITENE research centre, will gather representatives from the entire packaging value chain to discuss the latest trends in materials, sustainability, design, technology, and machinery.

In addition, the opening ceremony on 18 June will feature keynote speakers Mattia Pellegrini, Head of Unit "From Waste to Resources" at the European Commission, and Remigio Marano, Official Food Contact Materials Scientist at the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).

The 24th edition of the IAPRI World Conference will bring together representatives of the entire packaging value chain from leading international organisations such as Dow Chemical, Nestlé, UBE Corporation, Ioniqa, Grupo Lantero, Persán, Polinivo, Capsa, Cadel Recycling Lab, Metsä, PTT MCC Biochem, Cadel Recycling Lab, A. Hatzopoulos, Sanopack Innovation, AdBioplastics or Packaging Forensics Associates.

Moreover, this significant scientific and technological congress, the most important in the sector and in the history of IAPRI (International Association of Packaging Research Institutes), will host representatives from leading universities and research centres in the packaging field worldwide.
